Everyone loves toast and everyone likes to have a way of passing time, so what better game to play than Toast Time. Talk about encapsulating!
Toast Time is a very fun, unique game, brought to us by Force of Habit, that's perfectly placed on iOs devices.
A bready inspired shoot 'em up where you play as Terry or Toast-Ejecting Recoil & Reload System as he's known by his colleagues in the bakery industry. From the tutorial alone, you're are shown that Force of Habit don't offer just one or two different game play mechanics for fending off fiendish little farm monsters trying to steal your precious crispy timer clock.
16 different attacks and weapons, weaving into 45 exciting missions, waiting for carbo-fans to try out.
Visually the game is very appealing to the eyes, with cute simple animations merged with pleasant varying colour schemes and a never down in the dumps Terry.
It's incredibly quick to get into and perfect for playing in short bursts between commutes or for long hauls when you want to beat your score and advance further, plus the chance to gain fun customisable items, make this a game that isn't just for owning short term.
Toast Time is crazy, loony, charming and above all extremely enjoyable to play. It's got cute visuals, non-conforming lead character and offers delightful exercise for your digits.
The game is available on Android and iOs, priced at GBP£1.99, EUR€2.29 and USD$2.99

German Developer Awards 2013
The VGX awards happened and we all wish that they hadn't, but in Europe we got the German Developer Awards and overall it turned out to be quite a fun night, where great games were honoured.
They won Best Serious Game and beat the hugely acclaimed Crysis 3 for Best Game Design. Both awards are extremely well deserved and impressive. Congraulations to Threaks and everyone else at the German Developer Awards, which seems to display a real love of gaming, by fusing AAA and Indie games as being worthy of similiar achievements.
Beatbuddy is currently 75% on Steam as part of its Christmas sale, so there's no excuse for not hopping over there and grabbing this game. It's really worth having in your collection and the price right now is excellent.
One particular game and personal favourite of mine, which I also listed in my most loved games of 2013, was Beatbuddy by Threaks.
